1995年，Lennart Lajboschitz が Copenhagen に Zebra（シマウマ）という店を開き，余剰品を10クローネで販売。
2番目の店を開くときに，8歳の娘が 「Zebra はもうあるから Tiger にしよう」と言われ，名前を Tiger にした。デンマーク語では，「Tiger」と「10クローネ硬貨」の発音は同じ。
2012年，大阪に日本第1号店を開く。

2003年，Pedro Álvarez がトゥロンをスペイン，カディスの知人の店で売る。トゥロンはベルギーのチョコレート職人に作ってもらい，箱を Pedro が作った。Pedro は，以前ニューヨークでマーケティングのコンサルタントなどをしていた。

2005年，ウェブサイトを立ち上げ，スペイン国外への販売を展開。
